Montreal — Past, present, and future Olympic athletes came together in great numbers Saturday afternoon, December 1, for a unique celebration of AquaSport’s twentieth anniversary.

Numerous sports organizations, competition teams, and renowned athletes, people who made or will make Canadian Olympic history, came together to enjoy the memories and experience of the leading lights of the last twenty-five years. They gave insight into the evolution of their sports and shared their fondest memories with their successors and their fans.

AquaSport celebrates its silver anniversary
A leader in its field, AquaSport has risen to the challenge of bringing together Olympic idols, the sporting world of tomorrow, and sports fans. The world of Olympic sports and its athletes have always fascinated the public.
In a festive atmosphere, athletes shared the inspiration that drove them to become the best they could be in their sport, what awoke their passion for performance and excellence. They spoke of their fascination with athletes of the past.
The event also served as a reunion, where many athletes saw each other again for the first time in years. Those in attendance included the divers Sylvie Bernier and Alexandre Despatie, trainer Edgar Théorêt, synchronized swimmer Marie-Pier Boudreau-Gagnon, water polo player Gabor Csepregi, Paralympic swimmer Benoit Huot.
